Matt Cameron
Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Matthew Cameron’s family has roots in both Memphis, Tennessee and Long Island, New York. He was brought up among a confusing mix of Southern belles and wannabe mobsters, and his accent fluctuates wildly.
At seventeen, he moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University, where he immediately began writing and producing the self-titled soap opera parody series All Matt’s Children. In 2013, he graduated with a double major in Screenwriting/Film & Television Studies, and has since worked in various production roles at The Simpsons and The Bold and the Beautiful.
In recent years, he has been a finalist in Roadmap’s Jumpstart Competition, a semi-finalist in the Golden Script Contest, and a quarter-finalist in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. He currently lives in LA with his boyfriend Jake, their rabbit Trisha, and several unnamed houseplants.
Phyllis Botti
Phyllis Botti was born on Long Island, NY, into a large Italian family. But by the time Phyllis was in her 20s, she knew that her effervescent personality was destined to shine on camera. So, Phyllis packed up her life and moved to LA to pursue a career in acting. There, she found a kinship with the young queer community. This community changed her perspective on life, and she became a maternal figure to some.
After a career change to working in corporate sales, Phyllis has discovered the second act of her life in her 60s. In addition to co-hosting Filling In Phyllis, Phyllis is a writer for The Tolucan Times. You can find her keeping updated on all things pop culture and Hollywood, or strutting the streets of Studio City with her German Shepherd, Miles.
